Terms of use
These terms cover the ShinySnap app on Android and iPhone and its Pro upgrade. By using the app you agree to them. On iPhone, Apple's standard licence agreement for App Store apps applies as well; where the two differ, Apple's wins. How the app handles your data is in the privacy policy.
Prices
Prices in ShinySnap are estimates for ungraded cards, taken from third-party market data. They can be late or wrong, and some cards have none. A price is not an offer to buy or sell, not an appraisal and not financial advice. Check a card's price yourself before you buy, sell or trade it.
Price check and trade totals
Totals add up those estimates. They ignore condition, so a real sale or trade can come out higher or lower.
Pro
Pro is sold through Google Play and the App Store, at the price the store shows before you buy. Monthly and yearly Pro renew automatically until you cancel in the store's subscription settings. Deleting the app does not cancel. Pro stays on until the end of the period you paid for. Lifetime Pro is a one-time purchase.
Refunds go through the store you bought from, under its rules. A purchase on Android does not unlock Pro on iPhone, or the other way round.
The app as is
ShinySnap is provided as is, without warranties, as far as the law allows. A scan can pick the wrong card, and a phone can lose its data, so save a backup now and then (Settings › Your collection › Save backup).
Liability
As far as the law allows, our total liability for anything to do with ShinySnap is limited to what you paid for it in the 12 months before your claim. If you never paid, that is zero.
Card names and images
Card names, card images and Pokémon names belong to their owners. ShinySnap is an independent app. It is not affiliated with, endorsed or sponsored by Nintendo, The Pokémon Company, Creatures or GAME FREAK.
Rights holders
Rights holders who want card art, names or price data changed or removed can write to support@shinysnap.app. Please say which images, names or prices you mean and who you write for.
